What was i thinking!

While on a decluttering mission, I kept some plastic filament back reasoning that it was better to create something than just throw it away.

Brainwave, I'll make chainmail.  What was I thinking!  The only links I've made in the past were sterling silver and I soldered them securely closed.  Not so easy with plastic.

I had to figure out how to make links from PLA, a task which took months.  On top of that, I had to learn how to make chainmail from scratch.  I discovered that it works wonders to focus the mind.  Now I've started looking, inspiration is everywhere.
